about

Shubha was a girl I met at a party while visiting my friends at U Penn. I was so smitten with her but didn't get her phone number so I figured I'd never see her again. On the drive back to DC I wrote this song, singing it out loud in the car. I soon recorded the song and gave copies to my friends in Philly. A few weeks later one of them met Shubha randomly, told her the story and gave her the tape. Sure enough, she got my number and called me. We dated briefly, long distance, but the relationship didn't go very far. Too bad, it was a great story.

lyrics

Shubha, you know that I love ya
You know I wanna do ya, 'cause you're so cool-a
Oh dear Shubha, I feel so good-a
When I'm all around ya, I love you Shubha

When I met you that fateful night
I knew you were the one
Wrapped you up in my pleather skin
Having so much fun

Shubha, you're so brand new-a
I don't want any other woman than you-a
Oh baby Shubha, business major
You're driving me crazy, I got no number

Meister brau is in your hand
You know I'm your biggest fan
Can't stop thinking I'll never see
You in this whole wide world again

Shubha, you know that I love ya
I love ya like no other
I feel so cool-a
Darling Shubha, you know that I love ya
