about

I pulled out all the special effects for this number; slowed-down vocals, backwards guitars, echo delays, flangers, etc. The song contains 3 distinct parts, the middle one admittedly ripping off Mike Watt's "Against the 70's." It's a song about stress, although my stresses at the time were getting school work done and girlfriend issues.

lyrics

I got so much work to do in this life I think I'm losing my mind
I always feel that I'm missing out on what's happening
I think I'll lose my reality this time

I lost so much blood, sweat and tears I think I'm going insane
I got so much to remember I'm afraid I'm going to blow up my brain
I think all I need is a 100 years of sleep

All I need is a 100 years of sleep
